This Cinerama film is not lost and in fact going to be shone at the Cinerama Dome. The negative is in fine shape as is all the original three strip Cinerama films. This is Cinerama will be released in BluRay smile box in September. All the three strip Cinerama films will be released at a latter date. Don McCuaig

Great post with lost of great information.

As fan of both Tiki and Cinerama I am always hoping a copy of this film will someday surface. When I last attended a Cinerama screening of How The West Was Won, there was mention of a found print of this film. However, the film community is looking for someone to finance the restoration process. There are some clips of the film presented in the documentary ‘Cinerama Adventure’. This film is available in the special features if the DVD of How The West Was Won.

I too have a copy of this album. It is truely wonderdurfull.

Lovely find!! I agree with Erik above, will you post a rip?? I’d love to hear it as it would be very unlikely to make its way to my vinyl collection at any point in time, looks rare!! I also found this youtube video for a cinerama weekend, it’s in Europe, but still, that looks to be showing the film!!!

Great post! Tragic that the film is likely lost. Seeing as this is probably out-of-copyright, any chance you will be posting a vinyl rip of this fantastic find?
